Our mission
We exist to give independent Turkish makers, designers, and small brands a direct line to international customers — without the gatekeeping, opaque fees, and brand dilution of generic global marketplaces. Every order on ShopTurkiye supports a real seller in Türkiye, and every buyer gets a curated window into Turkish craft, design, and culture.
How we started
ShopTurkiye was founded by a small team that kept buying things on trips to Istanbul, Izmir, and Bursa and wishing it were easier to find the same makers from home. We launched the platform to close that gap: a single, trusted place where Turkish sellers can list internationally, accept multiple currencies, and ship worldwide, while buyers shop with the confidence of buyer protection and clear shipping terms.
What we do
- Vet and verify every seller before their store goes live, so listings come from real Türkiye-based businesses and individuals.
- Handle multi-currency pricing and international payments, so buyers can pay in their local currency and sellers receive payouts in TRY.
- Provide buyer protection on every order, with a 30-day guarantee and a structured dispute process.
- Translate the buyer experience into English and Turkish, with more languages planned as the marketplace grows.
